- Ftr: E.G.Robinson did NOT name names, nor was he asked to! HUAC went after him because 11 of the 850 charities he supported were listed as "communist fronts." *That's* who he said duped him. I understand poetic license, but not lying about him instead of showing folks like Elias Kazan who really did betray and destroy friends in order to save their own careers.
