- Excellent punk rock history about a sleazy bar that gave a 1st stage to The Ramones, Television, Talking Heads, Patti Smith and others. The Police, Lou Reed and Iggy Pop played in this dive. Other actors play them but really- they are all I their 60 . Younger people Lip synch. Still big fun. See 'Party Monster' and '54' - other eras different clubs, but NYC either way.
