Bluebeard retold, maybe a bit of the Tempest thrown in except Prospero wises up! It's the age-old obsession with control over women and how both male and female psyche become trapped, the Jungian idea is that each gender needs to embrace the opposite gender's characteristics to be free. Presumably the young guy could be rescued in the end..

Think you need to watch this three of four times to get the subtlety of this genius of a movie but the first time through is great. Well worth a watch, it builds and builds...

One of a whole new genre of movies depicting what 12 year olds imagine intelligence to be.Amusing...to a point...then it got switched off.

Enjoyed that more than I thought I would, excellent effects and reasonable, but as Jettal said, predictable story line. Worth a watch though

Four stars if you're into computers and sci-fi. Interesting take on AI.Three stars if you're not into the above - you'll likely find it slow.

This reminds me of the original Star Trek series episode Requiem for Methuselah with a modern twist. It was interesting but predictable.
